Memory Detective

Recall a real moment and tell it: what happened that day, and how did it feel?
Detective Emo helps children recognise, understand and talk about their feelings through play. Roll the die, open a mystery case, spin the Emotion Wheel and earn your detective badge.

Hello, detective! How are you feeling today?
Created by Gözde Alper, MSc Psychologist and Sinem Çelenk, Clinical Psychologist. The digital world of the printed board game Duygu Dedektifi (Emotion Detective).
Simple rules, deep conversations. Little ones play with a grown-up; older kids play solo or take turns with friends on one device.
The colour of the die tells you which detective deck to draw from.
Each card asks a question or sets a mission: remember, tell, act out, solve.
When the card asks — or when it’s hard to put into words — the Emotion Wheel steps in to help.
Missions that take real thinking and sharing earn a detective badge. It’s about discovery, not winning.
Each deck explores feelings from a new angle. Wherever the die lands, the adventure goes on from there.

Recall a real moment and tell it: what happened that day, and how did it feel?

What do I do when a feeling arrives? What does my body feel?

Discover calm through breathing, imagination and relaxation.

A real situation is given — and you come up with the way through.

Role-play, mime and show a feeling with your whole body.

Guess, compare, and give a feeling its own colour and sound.
When a card says “Spin the Wheel”, or when a child finds a feeling hard to name, the wheel comes to the rescue.
Happiness
In some missions the wheel spins on its own; in others the child turns it slowly and picks the feeling they actually feel.
The 3-6 wheel holds six core emotions; the 7+ wheel holds fourteen. Tap a feeling and Emo will show you what it looks like.
The two age groups never mix: a card from one group never appears in the other.
A colourful detective table, mystery case files and shiny badges. Swipe to explore.

With a checked cap, a magnifying glass and a pair of very curious eyes, Emo invites kids to follow the trail of feelings.
